To maintain your gemstone shiny, clean, and precious; follow these 5 steps:

• Storing your gemstones with other jewelleries is not a good idea because these stones may scratch one another. Instead, keep your gemstone in a fabric lined jewellery case or box with dividers, or wrap each piece in tissue paper before keeping it.
• Remove your gemstone jewellery before playing sport, gardening, performing household tasks, showering, or having a bath.
• Before you put your jewellery on, it is advisable to apply perfumes, colognes and wipe it with a tissue paper.
• Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals and abrasives when cleaning your gemstones. Instead, use a mild solution of soap and water with a soft brush.
• Rinse your gemstone thoroughly and use a soft cloth or towel to dry it.
